The pressure to look and feel beautiful is so real! In our society, we’re constantly bombarded with messages about the need to be perfect in our appearance — our application of make-up, what we do with our hair, how fit we are, what we wear, and so much more. It’s both relentless and exhausting! I know all about this, because I feel this pressure too!
But here’s the interesting thing: what I’ve found is that focusing on my external appearance isn’t what has made me feel more positive about my body and overall appearance. What I’ve come to learn is that feeling good is a state of mind. It’s about how you feel on the inside, not about how you look on the outside. Yes, I know this sounds supremely cheesy, but it’s the truth!
